Staff July 09, 2008 (view image) Palm's official Blog reports a new electric blue version of the Palm Centro will be released Friday on AT&T. Isn't it interesting that Friday is the day that the much anticipated iPhone 3G will be released. It looks like Palm is trying to go head to head with Apple on this one. The blog entry also suggests there might be a price cut coming for the Centro. "And be sure to check back here on Friday to find out how we’ll be making these eye-catching Centros more affordable than ever for back-to-schoolers from July 11 to September 20, 2008." Will it be a permanent price cut or just a sale?
